Ben I. Akabueze – Chairman, (B Sc, FCA)

He is a first class Accounting graduate of University of Lagos and Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
A star banker of repute with a 24 year career history that took him through Nigeria International Bank (Citibank), Fidelity Bank Plc and United Bank of Africa before joining NAL Bank Plc where he served as Managing Director/CEO from 1999 to 2005 and Sterling Bank Plc as Executive Director in the wake of consolidation in the Banking Industry.
Ben Akabueze’s outstanding career and creditable records was not unnoticed by Lagos State Government who appointed him Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget in 2006.

Professor W. Iyiegbuniwe – Director
Professor Iyiegbuniwe is one of Nigeria’s foremost financial scholars and leading Professor of Finance.
Since 1977, his lecturing experience in Department of Finance in University of Lagos spans three decades.
Before pitching with the Ivory Towers, he had a brief stint in the corporate world having worked in Unilever Nigeria and Nigeria Industrial Development Bank Ltd between 1973 and 1977.
After bagging a distinction in MBA in University of Lagos in 1975, he acquired two MSc degrees in Finance as well as Decision Science (Applied Statistics) in Georgia State University, USA and a Ph. D Finance Degree in the same University in 1984.
He is a member of numerous professional bodies in Nigeria, USA and United Kingdom and has to his credit several published textbooks and articles in learned journals.

Tope Oloniniyi – Managing Director, (B Sc, MBF, FCII.)

He is widely experienced as a financial services practitioner in the Non-Bank segment of the financial markets having put in a total of 19 years in key sub-sectors of the financial services markets before assuming a pioneering role in MIP Financial Solutions.
He is a Pension Consultant / Manager, Insurance Underwriter, Investment Analyst and Portfolio Manager, Microfinance Consultant and Trainer.
Between 1994 and 2007, he served at management positions in various companies including Insurance Brokers of Nigeria, Goldlink Insurance Company and Sterling Asset Management & Trustees Limited, (SAMTL), subsidiary of Sterling Bank Plc.
He is passionate about micro finance business; an industry he believes holds the key to Nigeria’s economic revolution.
